減修《選讀英文》申請 Application for Elective English Course Waiver (2 credits)

具有高中(含)以後所考之下列英文檢定考試且檢定成績達規定標準時，得申請減修選讀英文2學分，但未取得學分；學生須於畢業前自行選修學分(任何科系任何課程皆可)以補足畢業總學分數之要求。

適用對象：	107學年度起(含)入學學士班學生適用(排除外語系及英教系及進階生同學)
申請期限：	入學後至畢業前均可申請
申請方式：	至校務資訊系統填寫申請表後(申請畫面如下圖)，攜學生證、英檢成績單正本及影本各一份(正本查驗後歸還)、申請單，至英語教育中心辦公室辦理檢核(綜二館206R) 註：若該英檢考試無核發成績單者，可先印出網路成績取代英檢成績單影本（需含姓名及測驗日期），至英語教育中心申請檢核時，會請同學現場登入英檢考試成績顯示查詢頁面確認。

申請時間：

上班日上午9-12點、下午2-5點

英文檢定考試英文減修標準：

•	全民英語能力分級檢定(GEPT)中高級初試(含)通過
•	托福紙筆測驗 (TOEFL ITP) 550分（含）以上
•	托福網路測驗(TOEFL iBT) 79分(含)以上
•	雅思國際英語測驗(IELTS) 6級(含)以上
•	英國劍橋大學國際英文認證分級測驗FCE（含）以上
•	多益測驗 (TOEIC) 聽力與閱讀成績750分（含）以上
•	外語能力測試 (FLPT) 之英語測驗筆試各分項成績70分（含）以上

查詢是否通過：

審查需三-五個工作天，可至校務資訊系統點選畢業審查，於校定必修處即可進行查看。

備註說明：

通過上列英文檢定考試標準者，可減修《選讀英文》2學分。
頂標生通過減修後，即視為選擇該級別之方案一修課規定（英文8學分）。
高中或大學時期通過以上任一英語能力檢定考試標準者皆可申請。

Apply for Elective English Course (2 credits) Waiver

Students having the following qualifications of English proficiency exams in high school or in college can apply for waiving one Elective English course (2 credits). Students are advised to take other courses to meet the minimum course credits required for graduation.

1. Student Eligibility

Students who have enrolled since academic year 2018/2019 (excluding FLL and KENI students)

2. Application Deadline

Students can apply for the credit waiver any time before graduation.

3. Application Procedure

Fill in the application form in the Academic Information System and print out the completed form.
Bring your Student ID, application form, the original transcript and a copy of your English proficiency test to Center for English Education (@General Building II, R206) during workdays from 9am to 12pm & 2pm to 5pm (office hours)

4. (English) Language Proficiency Qualifications
- General English Proficiency Test (GEPT) High-Intermediate Level - reading and listening tests, PASSED

TOEFL ITP total score 550 or above
TOEFL iBT total score of 79 or above
IELTS average band 6 or above
Cambridge English Exams: reach B2 First (Cambridge English: First / FCE) or above
TOEIC total score of 750 or above(listening and reading)
Foreign Language Proficiency Test (FLPT) for English: each score of 70 or above

5. Check your results

The whole waiver process takes about 3 to 5 working days.
After 3-5 working days, you may log in to the NTHU Academic System (CCXP), select "Graduation Verification" and click on "(Ch)Graduation Verification(undergraduate)" to check out the results.

Credits obtained by completing English courses before applying for waiver are approved.
